TABLE at Cannes Film Festival 2026

Captured on Super 8mm in homage to the radical spirit of the French New Wave - a movement born from filmmakers rejecting an ageing studio system in favour of something more immediate, personal and alive - we spent Cannes reflecting on the kind of industry we want to help build through Table.

Much like the filmmakers of the Nouvelle Vague, Table exists to challenge creative stagnation: accelerating bold stories toward greenlight, championing filmmaker-led development, and creating space for risk, experimentation and new voices in an increasingly cautious landscape.

Between screenings, late-night conversations and Riviera chaos, we had a number of exciting meetings surrounding Table’s expansion, upcoming development partnerships, and our growing role in helping distinctive projects move from idea to production.
